Vincent Wisely, Attorney

Vincent E. Wisely is a native Texan with over 25 years of diverse legal experience and a deep understanding of the justice system from every angle. He has served as a Dallas Police Officer, Assistant District Attorney, State and Federal Criminal Defense Attorney, Police Labor Relations and Employment Attorney, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington. His background gives him unique insight into law enforcement, prosecution strategies, and defense advocacy—insight he brings to every case.

Mr. Wisely is admitted to practice in all federal courts for the Northern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. His litigation practice spans both criminal and civil matters, including federal criminal defense, civil rights violations, workplace discrimination, employment disputes, consumer protection, and personal injury trial law.

Through a U.S.–based remote practice with an administrative presence in Bogotá, Colombia, Mr. Wisely assists clients in matters governed by U.S. law, including federal criminal defense, immigration and visa representation for Colombian and other foreign nationals seeking to study, work, or reunite with family in the United States; and U.S. business formation, contracts, and compliance for entrepreneurs expanding into American markets.

When issues of Colombian law arise, he coordinates closely with trusted, duly licensed Colombian attorneys, ensuring that each client receives seamless, fully compliant cross-border service.

Clients benefit from his strategic mindset, real-world experience, and unwavering commitment to protecting their rights—whether in the courtroom or across international borders.
